1/4 inch plywood backing, followed by 3/8 inch thick layer of Layup and Laminating resin (mixed with fine sawdust) solid yet flexible. Thickness of repair is 1/4 inch backing plate plus 3/8 inch resin mixture that replaced the rotted 3/8 Mahogany plywood.

This type of repair would require the skills of an experienced carpenter to restore. Clear Penetrating Epoxy Sealer does this work for you. By penetrating the wood, strength is returned and the cause of the rot is removed. The stabalized wood now has an incredible surface for the application of our Layup and Laminating Epoxy Resin. It is poured and or injected into cavities which replaces wood that has been destroyed by ROT.
